Thabang Mashiloane is the Co-founder/CEO of Chankura (chankura.com) a global crypto-currency exchange that he co-founded with a former VP of Technology Merill Lynch.
Chankura goes beyond Bitcoin by trading post Initial Coin Offering tokens. He also co-founded GeoPay, a Blockchain remittances platform to transfer money in emerging markets including South Africa, China and India.
Currently based in United States, Silicon Valley where Chankura is headquartered. Thabang has been invited as a guest speaker in multiple platforms including Plug N Play, a Silicon Valley technology accelerator with global presence. As an independent emerging markets fintech advisor he consulted with one of the big 5 financial institutions listed in the New York Stock Exchange. Furthermore he is also the Director of Vsites Digital Media located in Sandton, Johannesburg. Through his sessions at Stanford
University and Google he also had an opportunity to meet with the likes of Vitalik Buterin (Co-founder of Ethereum) and Sergey Brin who is the Co-founder of Google.
Studied BTEC in Information Technology at London School Of Business and Management and later enrolled with a Scottish university for Bscin Computer Science at Heriot Watt University, Thabang also found close to 10 online businesses, to many he is an inspiring young digital entrepreneur
